In any Messages conversation, tap the apps icon beside the text field and choose LineBy You from the iMessage app drawer.
Tap one of the suggested messages, grouped by category, or type your own phrase. It's scrambled into letter tiles and dropped into the conversation as a puzzle bubble.
They tap the bubble and swap tiles until the phrase is in order. When they solve it, the message is revealed — along with a link to the full LineBy game.
Yes, completely free — no in-app purchases and no ads. It's a fun way to share a quick puzzle, and it points to the full LineBy game, which is a separate paid app.
If they have LineBy You, they play right inside Messages. If they don't, tapping the bubble opens a web version in their browser so they can still play — and that includes friends on Android.

None. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no iCloud. Gameplay makes no network calls — the whole puzzle is encoded inside the message link; the only network use is the App Store sheet behind its Get LineBy button. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
LineBy You is a free, send-and-play iMessage app for one-off puzzles. The full LineBy game is a separate paid app with 315 hand-built puzzles across history, film, and music — plus genres, the story behind each quote, a custom-puzzle builder, and iCloud sync.
