0n1 Studios is an independent game studio making privacy-first games for mobile and desktop — no ads, no trackers, no manipulative monetization.
0n1 Studios (pronounced "Oni") is an independent game studio founded in Canada in 2026. It makes carefully built, atmosphere-first games for mobile and desktop on a single rule: games should earn your attention, not harvest it. Its first release, LineBy, is a daily quote puzzle on the App Store; Runoff, Worldwright, Duels, Everywhen, Adventure and Rockstar are in development.
0n1 Studios (pronounced "Oni", written with a zero) is an independent, self-published game studio founded in Canada in May 2026. It makes carefully built, atmosphere-first games for mobile and desktop, held to a rule the studio applies to every title: no ads, no third-party trackers, and no monetization designed to wear you down. Games are free to play or cost one fair, one-time price — never a subscription, an energy timer or a loot box.
Its first release, LineBy, is a daily word puzzle built from 315 hand-picked quotes across history, film and music, free on the App Store with a single $0.99 unlock for the full library. Worldwright, a rise-and-fall civilization builder spanning nine ages, is playable now as a free browser demo. Runoff, a bright cel-shaded pipe-surfing racer for iOS, Android and Steam, is in beta testing. Duels, Everywhen, Adventure and Rockstar are in development.
The studio builds in public: its development journal documents what shipped, what broke and what it cost, at 0n1studios.com/journal.
Every figure below is taken from each game's source, not from marketing copy. Status is current as of this page's last update.
Stand-up thruster-board racing through the empty storm pipes — one finite energy core between you and the flag, drawn in hard ink on bright paper.
A daily word puzzle: a famous line arrives scrambled, and you rebuild it one tile-swap at a time. Every quote is hand-picked and worth reading once it lands.
A rise-and-fall civilization builder. Raise a society from a single fire, then brace for the Upheaval that razes it — and carry only what you learned into the next age.
Spell duelling in gaslit Victorian London, 1887. You cast by moving the phone itself — the gesture is the spell — with an Apple Watch on the other wrist.
A branching choose-your-path audiobook. Press play, listen, and steer the tale by choosing — a new shared story arrives every other day.
Bimanual gesture combat meets a location RPG: phone in one hand, Watch on the other wrist, both moving together — and a world map made of the streets you actually walk.
Write a song, then perform it — the phone reads how you move, and the door pays you what the room thought. Between gigs you live the career.
